Dear participants,

CBVM is next week already! Just to make sure you do not forget anything and you know how to reach your hotel from Helsinki airport, we have made a small document called REMINDER that is on the website under the tab PUBLICATION.

Under this tab, you can also find a pdf version of all the abtracts for the workshop. A printed copy of the document will be given to you at registration time.

Talks are basically 15 minutes (plus 5 minutes for questions).
Keynotes speakers talks are 35 minutes (plus 10 minutes for questions).

Hi everyone!

We accepted new abstracts recently and have posted them on the website under the speaker tab.
39 people subscribed to cbvm workshop so far and we are still waiting for some late registrations.

We are working on the shcedule at the moment. We will try to respect the order of the temes in the preliminary program (see First workshop -> preliminary program).

Abstracts acceptance

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your participation. The abstracts are under examination by the
Scientific committee. You should hear news about acceptation of your papers today, August 29th (or tomorrow depending of jet lag).

There is still room available for additional participants. If you are
interested to take part in the CBVM08 workshop in Helsinki, please contact
the Organizing committee via CBVM@nemoralis.ca. Late application could be
considered as a second call for papers.

Accepted abstracts will be post on the website soon.

Update!

2008-07-18

Please notice that the deadline for submitting abstract have been
extended up to August 20, 2008. Since a lot of person are out of
office for field work this summer, we hope this this extension will
give a hand for the abstract redaction.

The lenght of the abstract have also been shortened to one (1) page,
as it is written in previous news.

Dear participants,

There is less than one month left to send your abstract of paper related to the conference topics. We reduced to 1 page the maximum length of the abstract to help participant to hand it on time. Do not forget, deadline for submission is July 31, 2008. If you have any problems, please contact the project coordinator at cbvm@nemoralis.ca.

Hotel reservation procedure for CBVM workshop

Dear participants of CBVM Workshop in November 2008. All the hotel reservations are made via meeting coordinator Aino Juslén. Please contact her by e-mail aino.juslen@ymparisto.fi and inform her, which hotel you would prefer. Please provide also the information on date and estimated time of arrival and departure.
